WALLY EVENTS
As most of you know - I am a proud member of Wally's Swing World and Wally's Cocktail Combo. Wally's got it covered - everything from concerts, dances and weddings to club dates. He's the hardest working musician in Santa Cruz. By the way - he also is a full-time music professor at Cabrillo College (I play for his Monday night jazz vocal class). Some upcoming events: the combo is playing at the San Jose Fairmont Hotel on Friday, May 17th. The combo is also playing at Severino's on Friday, June 6th. Also, the full Swing World is playing the fancy-schmancy Grand Ball at the Coconut Grove on Saturday, June 14. See the calendar below for details.

SANTA CRUZ JAZZ SOCIETY NEWS
As many of you know, I am a member of the SCJS Board of Directors and also the house band for the SCJS weekly jam sessions at Bocci's Cellar in Santa Cruz every Sunday from 4 - 8 pm. We want to invite jazz players and vocalists to join us and sit-in. There's a large dance floor, too. Check out the SCJS Website for much more information about activities, members and supporting the organization.
TEACHING AND LECTURES
I am currently teaching jazz, classical and improvisation piano lessons at my home in Boulder Creek, CA and also at the West Valley Music Store in Mt. View.
